This Privacy Policy explains how Mytroni Team ("Mytroni", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Mytroni application and related services (the "Service").
1) Who This Policy Applies To
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
2) Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Information you provide, including account information (name, username, email), customer support content, and the content you create such as diary entries, notes, ratings, shop names, and photos.
- Location (when you allow it): precise or approximate location depending on your device settings and permission choices.
- Information collected automatically, such as device information, usage data, crash/performance logs, and cookies or similar technologies (for login and preferences, and possibly web beacons for basic measurement).
You can usually manage cookies through your browser settings.
3) Photos, Face Data, and Sensitive Processing
- No facial recognition / biometrics: we do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification.
- Default storage: photos you add are intended to be stored locally on your device by default, unless you choose to upload or sync them.
- One-time processing and deletion (if you choose to upload): if the Service offers optional server-side processing (for example, to generate, transform, summarize, or organize content from a photo or text you submit), any uploaded photo/text is processed on servers controlled by Mytroni Team. We do not share that submitted photo/text with third-party AI model providers, and it is deleted promptly after the processing job finishes (or if it fails), except where temporary storage is required for security, debugging, or legal compliance.
- No training / marketing: we do not use your uploaded photos or submitted text for advertising or marketing.
You control whether you upload photos/text for any server-side processing.
4) How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the Service (accounts, authentication, saving entries, core features).
- Personalize your experience (organize diary, map, and preferences).
- Improve stability and performance (analytics, debugging, crash diagnosis).
- Security and fraud prevention.
- Customer support.
- Legal compliance and protection of rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
5) How We Share Information
We share information only as described below and only to the minimum extent necessary:
- With your consent (for example, when you choose to share content).
- Service providers (processors) that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery, and support tools) under contractual safeguards and our instructions.
- Legal and safety disclosures when required by law or to protect users and the Service.
- Business transfers (merger, acquisition, or asset sale) with appropriate safeguards.
For optional server-side photo/text processing described above, we do not provide the submitted photo/text to third-party AI model providers.
6) International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
7) Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (and where appropriate at rest), access controls, regular security reviews, and backups. No method is 100% secure.
8) Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- Deletion: if you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Usage data: typically retained up to 12 months.
- Customer support content: typically retained up to 6 months.
9) Your Rights and Choices

Location choice: you can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings. Some features may not work without location permission.
10) Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate with third-party services (for example, an operating system map provider). Their practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
11) Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and update the Effective Date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
12) Dispute Resolution (Binding Arbitration)
To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief for alleged infringement or misuse of intellectual property or confidential information. The governing law will be the law of Mytroni Team’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
